Obituary for Morfin

The Angels in Heaven grew lonely and called Gary Morfin Jr., infant, so that he may be cradled in the Lord's arms. He leaves behind, with broken hearts, his loving parents, Gary Morfin and Paula Blea-Morfin; his paternal grandparents, Gary and Colette Morfin, Julie and Mike Bangert; maternal grandparents, Robert and Ramona Blea; his uncle, Roberto Blea; aunts, Marguerite Blea, Melissa Morfin, Jessika Morfin, Kristal Morfin and Brittany Morfin. Also surviving are his maternal great-grandmother, Agnes Sanchez; paternal great-grandparents, Eliseo and Eufemia Jacquez, Sergio and Julia Morfin; paternal great-great-grandparents, Beatrice Salazar, Sergio and Adelina Chacon. Gary will be greatly missed by his loving family, who waited so long to be part of his life. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to all relatives and friends who have been so supportive during their time of loss. Visitations will be today, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary, on the corner of 8th and Iron, where a Rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Angels will be celebrated Saturday morning, 10:00 a.m., at San Juan Catholic Church in Coyote, NM. Interment will follow in the Morfin Family Cemetery in Watercreek, NM. Casket bearers will be Carlos Atencio, Leo Garcia Sanchez, Michael Jacquez and Randy Morfin. Honorary bearers will be Roberto Ambrosio Blea, Osbey Saenz, Marcos Ortiz, Cisco Lovato, Adrian Gallegos and Lucas Trujillo. For floral assistance, please call 243-5222.
