Obituary for Rehnborg

Howard E. Rehnborg passed away on Friday morning, September 24, 1999 in Albuquerque. He was born October 16, 1919 in Jamestown, NY, the son of Gertrude and Alvin Rehnborg. Raised in Corry, PA, he attended Carnegie Institute of Technology and graduated in 1942 with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 1945, he married Donna B. Bertram, also of Corry. Mr. Rehnborg retired in 1982 from Westinghouse Electric Corp. after a career in engineering management in mechanical design and development. He also worked for The National Supply Co. in Springfield, OH, The Ajax Iron Works in Corry, PA, and ACF Industries in Albuquerque. Following retirement, Mr. and Mrs. Rehnborg moved back to Albuquerque in 1983. Survivors include his wife, Donna and their three children, Ruthann Rehnborg of Boulder, CO, David H. Rehnborg of Norwalk, OH, and Robert B. Rehnborg of Hayden Lake, ID; and four grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Gordon A. Rehnborg of Austin, TX; and three sisters, Hazel E. Bertram of Hopewell, VA, Doris B. Miller of Covington, VA and Helen L. Athey of Yorktown, VA. He was a member of St. Stephen United Methodist Church. Private services will be held. Sunrise Society is serving the family of Mr. Rehnborg, (891-8200).
