Joanne Helen Payne, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, born February 19, 1924, died Friday, September 24, 1999. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry D. Payne and sister, Virginia Hobson. Aunt Jo is survived by two nieces, Charlyn Ward and Katy Lundy; two great-nieces, Samantha Hutcheson-Lundy and Shawna Hutcheson-Lundy. Her husband's family, Jimmy and Hope Woodfill, Jimmy (Bo) Woodfill and family, John W. and Teresa Woodfill, Elaine and Troy Babbitt and family. Services will be held Sunday, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Rev. John W. Woodfill officiating. Private burial is planned for Monday at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
