Obituary for Sandoval

Christopher Ray Sandoval, age 15, born January 3, 1984, left his family to meet the Lord on September 22, 1999. He was preceded in death by his brother, Benjamin Sandoval; and his grandfather, Benjamin C de Baca. He is survived by his mother, Martha Sandoval; his grandmother, Rachel C de Baca; his special cousin, Matthew Montano; his aunt, Esther Zamora and husband, Phillip; many cousins and great-cousins. Christopher loved life and people. He was actively involved in the community, as a member of Mt. Carmel Choir, the Guadalupanos, an Honorary member of the Lions Club at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, and Fiesta King of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. He met the Power Rangers through Make a Wish Foundation. He attended Mission Elementary School and Taft Middle School. Christopher will be greatly missed by his loving family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated this morning, 10:00 a.m., at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church with interment to follow at the Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Ramon Lucero Sr., Glen Perez, Timo Harrison, Sammy Torres, Alex Vallejos, and Phillip Zamora. Services entrusted to Alameda Mortuary, 9420 4th St NW, Gary F. Santillanes C.F.S.P.
