Obituary for Aldridge

Paul Aldridge died of kidney failure in Austin, Texas, Sunday, September 19, 1999. He was born January 19, 1911 in Spokane, Washington, and after graduating from school, worked on oil tankers and hydroelectric power engineering dams in Australia and the U.S. until 1941 when he joined Todd Shipyard until his retirement 38 years later. After retirement he and Lucile lived in San Antonio, TX, Rio Rancho, NM, Bixby, OK and Lawrence, KS. Paul was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Lucile Peak Aldridge, originally of Davenport, WA; and his brothers, Stephen Aldridge of Wilson Creek, WA and George Aldridge of Milton, WA; his brother, Carl W. Aldridge resides in Woodburn, OR. He is also survived by his daughters, Linda Kehoe of Lawrence, KS, Epsie Shapley of Austin, TX; and grandchildren, Don Huse of San Antonio, TX, Sally Daniel of Austin, TX, Leah Bean of Seattle, WA, Ray Shapley Jr. of Austin, TX and Vernon Kehoe of Austin, TX; and great-grandchildren, Bryce Daniel of Austin, TX and Collin and Abby Huse of San Antonio, TX. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 25, 1999, 1:00 p.m., at the Chapel of Strate Funeral Home, Davenport, WA. Interment will be at Mt. View Cemetery, Davenport. WA.
