Ms. Halena Corrina Lovato, 28, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away as a result of an automobile accident and went to be with the Lord on her birthday, September 20, 1999. Halena was the beloved daughter to Angie Morales and husband, Eleno; her father, Roy Lovato; her loving daughter, Jhane Walker-Lovato; two sisters, Christina Morales, Lorena Morales; two brothers, Silverio Morales and wife, Rita Lucero, and Miguel Morales; grandparents, Alex Licon of Pueblo, CO and Helen Lovato; aunts, Priscilla Licon of Pueblo, CO, Isabel Medrano and husband, Jesus of Liberal Kansas and Connie Lovato and husband, Kenny of Pueblo, CO; many other extended family members, friends and co-workers. Halena was a member of the Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited Friday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, with a Funeral service to follow at 1:30 p.m. Deacon Charles Lucero will recite the Rosary and officiate the Funeral service. Visitation for Halena will be after 12:30 p.m., Friday afternoon. Private disposition will take place. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of the arrangements.
