Joe Aurelio Lucero, 75, passed away Thursday, August 12, 1999 at his home in Albuquerque. He is survived by his daughter, Inez and husband, Gene; sons, Joe"Jess" and wife, Mary Ann, and Celso Romero; brothers, Ed Romero and Florito Martinez; sister, Emma Barela; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 16, 1999 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Albuquerque. Mass of Christian burial time and place will be announced.
