Obituary for Hogan

Frances Adams Hogan went to glory Monday, August 2, 1999. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, James H. Hogan; son, J. Michael Hogan; brother, James Earl Adams of Denver; many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hogan was born in Montague Hollow, Soldier, KY, September 9, 1918. She attended school in KY and went on to the Moorhead State University in MN, where she was on the gymnastics and basketball teams. She taught high school in Soldier, KY during WWII. A Southern Baptist, she taught Sunday School beginners (4's and 5's) for years. She loved to read and passed the love of reading to her son. She was loved by little children and was the happiest when she had a gang of them around her. She will be missed by all. Her cremated remains were buried Friday, August 6, 1999, at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Cremation arrangements were made by the Sunrise Society of New Mexico. 891-8200.
