Vurla A. Armstrong, 87, a resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, July 8, 1999. She is survived by her daughters, Betty Patrick and husband, Elmer of Albuquerque and Patsey Jean Strong of T or C; sons, J.D. Armstrong and wife, Dorothy of Liberal, KS and Earl Armstrong of El Paso, TX; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Our mother went to be with the Lord after a long illness. Mrs. Armstrong was loved dearly and will be missed by all who knew her. Services will be held Saturday, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Interment will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be family members. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
