Obituary for Peterson

Carl E. Peterson, age 92, born in Spanish Fork, UT, a resident of Albuquerque since early 1930's, died Friday, July 9, 1999. He was married to his first wife, Cleo Bate Peterson for 43 years and was preceded in death by her and two sons, Keith and Don and one brother, Jack Peterson. He is survived by his wife, Edna L. Hunlow Peterson to whom he was married 25 years, and son, Jerry Dale Peterson and wife, Carolyn; and grandson, Phillippe Peterson, all of Cathedral City, CA. He started as a lineman with Mt. Bell and worked his way up to Division Supervisor, retiring in 1969. A member of the Highland Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and a ham radio operator call letters W5JLJ. Mr. Peterson's body will be taken to Anderson and Sons Mortuary in American Fork, Utah for graveside services at the American Fork Cemetery 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 12, 1999 with Mr. John Van Dorn officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to your favorite charity or the Animal Humane Association of New Mexico, 615 Virginia SE, Albq., NM 87108. Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE, were in charge of local arrangements.
