Corina L. Jara passed away on July 7, 1999. She had suffered a great illness that took her life, but is now at peace. She was born on June 14, 1946. She is survived by her wonderful husband, Carlos Jara; his mother and sister, Margarita and Alma Jara; a loving son, Dominic Vasquez; her daughter and two granddaughters, Yvonne, Maria and Gabriela Chacon; two brothers, Eloy and wife, Nancy Nunez and Donald Lucero. She is also survived by many loving friends and family. She worked several years for the State. Corina was an outstanding mother, grandmother, wife, friend, sister, and all around person. She will be greatly missed. Visitation for Corina will be Monday, July 12, 1999, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Hillcrest Funeral Home. Visitation will continue at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, July 13, 1999, 9:00 a.m., at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
