Anna Lee Baker Hall, 89, widow of Dr. Wm. F. Hall, passed away July 2, 1999, at the Rio Rancho Nursing Center, where she lived for the past three years. She is survived by a daughter, Pat Bray and husband, Richard of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Melinda Lee Dolan and husband, Terry of Albuquerque; grandson, Jon Ashton Bray and wife, Reta of Edgewood; great-grandchildren, Ella Lee Dolan, Joseph Dolan, Paul Jesse Bray and Fiona Bray; and many nieces, nephews and longtime friends. Anna was born to Dayton and Eva Lee Baker at LeBelle, Missouri, December 22, 1909, and was predeceased by her parents; four brothers; and one sister. She was a registered Osteopathic nurse, graduating from Laughlin Training School, Kirksville, Missouri, in 1935. She met her husband while working in Houston, Texas, and later they lived in El Paso for many years. Dr. Hall died in 1965, and she continued nursing until retirement in 1971. She moved to Albuquerque in 1978 to be near her family, living at Brentwood Gardens until 1996. Anna was a member of St. Stephen's United Methodist church, and memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Stephen's music program, which gave her much joy. Cremation was arranged by Sunrise Society, and the family wishes to thank them for their sensitive assistance, as well as that of Hospice and the wonderful people at the Rio Rancho Nursing Center. A private family picnic and musical celebration of her life will be held this autumn in the mountains she loved.
