Mildred"Millie" Dix, 91, a resident of Albuquerque since 1996, died Saturday, July 3, 1999. She is survived by her daughter, Polly Dix Schaafsma and husband, Curtis of Santa Fe; grandsons, Hoski Schaafsma of Tempe, AZ, Pieter Schaafsma and wife, Keith of Flagstaff, AZ; and brother, Henry Gafvert of Massachusetts. Mrs. Dix was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond A. Dix. Mrs. and Mr. Dix were residents of North Springfield, VT for many years prior to moving to New Mexico. They were residents of Deming from 1979 to 1996. Mrs. Dix was a skilled photographer and received many awards. Private Disposition has taken place. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd., NE.
