Obituary for Herreid

Scott Freeman Herreid, 49, a resident of Albuquerque since 1967, died as a result of a motor vehicle accident on May 20, 1999, in Albuquerque. Scott was born in Peoria, IL on November 6, 1949. He attended the University of New Mexico from 1967 through 1971, graduating with a BA in Economics. Upon graduation, Scott worked in a professional capacity for various Economic Research and Development firms in the Albuquerque area. Just prior to his death, he was employed at the Albuquerque Convention Center as the Food Service Manager. Scott is survived by his mother, Blanche Herreid of Peoria, IL; his brother, Brent Herreid of Albuquerque; and his sister, Teresa Herreid of Battle Lake, MN. His father, Wayne, preceded him in death. Scott was a gentle soul who loved the earth, but left it too soon. He was much loved and will be forever missed.
