Alice Gass Ryan died Monday, May 3, 1999, after a lengthy illness. Born in 1927, she was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque. She is survived by her husband, Charles G. Ryan; sister, Nancy Lewis and husband, Claude; niece, Rebecca Almeter and husband, Richard; grandniece, Holly Freshman, all of Albuquerque; and niece, Margaret Lewis of Novato, CA. She was active in and served as an officer of Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumnae; Chapter E. of P.E.O.; and Women of the Cathedral Group of St. Johns Episcopal Church; and was active in a needlepoint group. Memorial services will be held Thursday, May 6, 2:00 p.m., at The Cathedral Church of St. John, 4th St. at Silver SW.
