Thelma M. Smith, 88, a resident of Albuquerque since 1959, died Sunday, April 25, 1999. She is survived by her son, George J. Smith; daughters, Marquerite Bishop and Catherine Griffin; sons, Ken Smith, Don Smith, and Richard Smith, all of Albuquerque; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Rosary will be recited Thursday, April 29, 1999, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Friday, April 30, 1999, 9:00 a.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd. NW. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Miller, Ron Miller, Mike Miller, Dewayne Griffin, and Wayne Griffin. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Thursday, one hour prior to Rosary.
