Obituary for Gann

John W. Gann, 88, a resident of Albuquerque since 1986, died Sunday, April 25, 1999. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Elizabeth F. Gann; sons, Jay Gann and Robert Gann; and other family including Gracen Johnson, Carole Gann, Kimberly Garber, Melinda Reeder, David Gann, Sybil Evans; and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Gann served his country during WWII in the US 8th Air Force. He was a former resident of Dallas, TX, where he was a member of Urban Park Baptist Church and worked 45 years for Southwestern Bell Telephone. Mr. Gann was also a member of the original Dallas Newsboys Club. He loved to attend Hoffmantown Church on television. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Pastor Ken Moore officiating.
