Obituary for Selgado

Celso Selgado, 58, a resident of Albuquerque since 1964, died Tuesday, January 12, 1999. He is survived by his daughters, Janet McMichael, and husband, Bill of Albuquerque and JoAnn Sanchez and husband, Fred of Rio Rancho; sisters, Vivian Urban and husband, Billy of Santa Rosa and Gomensinda Chavez of Albuquerque; brother, Ben Selgado and wife, Mary of Albuquerque; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister Delfina Selgado; and brother, Guillermo"Willy" Selgado Jr. Mr. Selgado was a member of the American Legion, Post 13. He retired from the Army Reserve as Master Sergeant. Mr. Selgado was also retired from the City of Albuquerque. Rosary will be recited Thursday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Friday, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd. NE. Interment will take place at 12:30 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Albert Elevario, Bert Elevario, Mario Elevario, Chris Elevario, Mike Madril and Carlos Madrid. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
