Martin"Mike" D. Voss, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1987, passed away on Friday, January 8, 1999. Mike was born July 29, 1911, the son of George and Marie Wilhelm Voss in Clark, South Dakota. He had worked at a paper mill before retiring. Mike was preceded in death by his son, James Eichmann. He is survived by his wife, Blanche of Rio Rancho; step-daughter, Jeaneen Cole of Huntington, CA; two sons, Robert Eichmann of Houston, TX and Earl Voss of Mountain Iron, MN; three daughters, Mary Johnson of Meadowlands, MN, Judy Bechtold of Mountain Iron, MN and Louise Hiatt of Buehl, MN; two sisters, Theresa Hughes of Menahga, MN and Clara Widel of Stillwater, MN; and many grandchildren. The visitation for Mike will be held Monday, January 11, 1999, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., in the chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd., at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho, with the service on Tuesday, January 12, 1999, 11:00 a.m., at the Calvary Lutheran Church, Unser and Abrazo, in Rio Rancho, with Rev. Donald Neidigk officiating. Entombment will follow in the Floral Garden Mausoleum in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary.
