Adam David Bickett, 19, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 1999. He was born December 21, 1979. Adam is survived by his mother, Katherine Sanchez Aldaz; stepfather, Gilbert Aldaz; father, David Bickett; grandmother, June Bickett (Baba); grandfather, Max Sanchez; sisters, Vanessa Christine Bickett and Jessica Aldaz; brothers, Jason Aldaz and David Bickett Jr.; cousins, Benjamin Sanchez, Matthew Ortega, Sarah Ortega, Nicolas Gamble, Emily Gamble, Ryan Bickett, James Bickett, Mike Brancato, Elizabeth Roby, Steven Roby, Pamela Roby, Kenny Branum, Aaron Bickett, Spencer Bickett, and Brooke Post; aunts and uncles, Louis and Tillie Sanchez, Judy Sanchez, Regina Sanchez, Maria Sanchez, Lorraine Sanchez and Joseph Gamble, Bridgett and Aaron Ortega, Donna and Glen Post, Brian and Barbara Bickett, Susan Roby, Amy Branum, and Mark and Jeanette Bickett. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Emma Sanchez; grandfather, Robert Bickett; brother, David Anthony Bickett; and cousin, Justin Walden. Adam graduated with Honors from Eldorado High School, Class of 1998. He was a Civil Engineering student at University of Oklahoma, attending on full academic scholarship. Other honors include National Hispanic Scholar, Westpoint Nominee, University of New Mexico Star Scholar, named in"Who's Who Among American High School Students." His activities and hobbies included wrestling, football, running, weight-lifting, and fishing. Rosary will be recited Friday, June 18, 1999, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, June 19, 1999, 9:00 a.m., at St. Bernadette Church, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE, with Rev. William McCarren, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Sanchez, Aaron Ortega, Mike Romero, Lee Aldaz, Brian Bickett, Glen Post, and Jamie Anderson. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Friday, June 18, 1999, 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
