Maxine Carmichael Tilton, 78, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946, died Wednesday, February 3, 1999. She is survived by her husband, Dean Tilton of Albuquerque; sons, Charles Carmichael and wife, Ellen of Artesia, David Carmichael and wife, Sandi and Daniel Carmichael and wife, Deb, all of Albuquerque; daughters, Marian Clark and husband, Edwin and Donna Steen and husband, Tom, all of Albuquerque; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters, Imogene Smith of Phoenix, AZ, Marjorie Blatt of Alliance, OH, Myrna Taubaugh of Jerusalem, OH, Trilba Snyder of Ft. Myers, FL, Norma Hale of Show Low, AZ, and Francis Krabill of Alliance, OH; and brother, Otis Lough of Phoenix, AZ. Mrs. Tilton was a member of Hoffmantown Church. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Monday, 10:00 a.m., at Hoffmantown Church, 8888 Harper NE, with Pastor Ken Moore officiating. Private interment of cremains will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Hoffmantown Church, c/o Building Fund, 8888 Harper NE, 87111.
