Obituary for Salazar

Barbara Salazar, 82, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, February 4, 1999. She is survived by her five daughters, Sally Molina and husband, Lee of Albuquerque, Dolores Armijo and husband, Robert of Bibo, NM, Mary Salazar, Barbara T. Salazar and David Borrego, and Anna Pacheco and George Garcia, all of Albuquerque; five sons, Isidro"Sonny" Salazar and wife, Alice of Bibo, NM, Eloy Salazar and wife, Sadie, Billy Salazar, and Leonard Salazar and wife, Teri, all of Albuquerque and Abelino Salazar and wife, Livinia of Las Cruces; 25 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Melquides"Mike" Chavez, Juan S. Chavez, and Eduardo"Eddie" Chavez, all of Albuquerque; sister-in-law, Trinidad Baca; many nieces and nephews and special niece, Rose Garcia; and numerous cousins, including Beatrice Baca. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Vidal Salazar; granddaughter, Rebecca Salazar; two great-grandchildren, Tony Lee Molina and Mariah Ashley Lopez; and sister, Pablita C. Sanchez. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at Holy Family Church, with Father Jack Clark Robinson, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Santa Clara Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Isidro Salazar, Eloy Salazar, Billy Salazar, Leonard Salazar, Abelino Salazar and LeRoy Molina. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
