Rafael Espinoza, 87, a resident of Baldwin Park, CA and formerly of Veguita, NM, passed away February 3 1999. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Felipita Espinoza; two daughters, Ida Cordova and her husband, Joe from Hesperia, CA and Frances Ortega and her husband, Dan of West Covina, CA; his two sons, Albert Espinoza and his wife, Irene of La Puente, CA and Louie Espinoza and his wife, Becky of Belen. Rafael is also survived by his 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Services were held for Rafael in West Covina, CA on Thursday, February 4, 1999. Visitation will be held on Sunday at 3:00 p.m., followed by a Rosary at 4:00 p.m. at Romero Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, 10:00 a.m., at the San Juan Catholic Church in Veguita, NM with Father Vincent Nicosia officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jesse, Gilbert, Felix and Victor Espinoza, Pio and Robert Ortega. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main St., Belen, NM.
