Mr. Jose S. Pino, 73, born in Quemado, NM and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on February 3, 1999. Mr. Pino was the beloved husband of 50 years to Mrs. Mary Pino. He is also survived by one daughter, Geraldine (Geri) Pino-Palacios; one son, Eddie Pino; four grandchildren, Edward Pino Jr., Vince Pino, Ashley Palacios and Stephanie Palacios; two great-grandchildren, Jacob Pino and Jonathan Pino; and many other family members and friends. Joe retired from the City of Albuquerque after 23 years of service. A prayer service will be held Friday evening, 7:00 p.m., at the Rio Grande Seventh Day Adventist Church, 5200 Iliff NW (corner of Atrisco) with visitation at the church after 6:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. Final viewing will be at the church from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Pastor Cano officiating the prayer service and the Funeral service. Interment will follow at the Bosquecito Cemetery in Bosquecito, NM. Pallbearers will be Edward Pino Jr., Vince Pino, Richard Pino, Bobby Barela, Raymond Baca Jr., David Armijo, Jerry Barela and Max Pino; honorary will be Larry Moya Armijo, Martin Barela, Ernest Armijo Jr., Orlando Armijo Jr. and Ray Palacios. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of the arrangements.
