Mrs. Bennie Jane Bunt, a resident of New Mexico for over 60 years, passed away Tuesday morning, June 8, 1999, peacefully in her sleep. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Clarence Bunt in 1990. Bennie was the last surviving child in her family. She was born in Camp County, Texas, October 19, 1912. She is survived by her son, Ron Bunt and his wife, Kathy of Cuba, NM and a warm circle of loving family and friends. Bennie was a quiet, gentle woman whose loving heart touched many lives. She will be greatly missed by those she left behind. Services will be held Friday, 2:00 p.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, with Pastor Eugene Ray officiating. Entombment will follow at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Honorary pallbearers will be Herby Coontz, Glenn Coontz, Gene Kelley, Roger Tate, Ken Bunt and Charles Russell. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
