Obituary for Sandoval

Tito J. Sandoval, 64, a resident of Jemez Springs for the past five years, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 1999 at the Veterans Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Tito was born January 24, 1935 the son of Lucio and Corina Ruiz Sandoval in Ponderosa, New Mexico. He served in the US Marines during the Korean War, on returning to New Mexico he moved to Albuquerque to work. In the early 1970's he owned and operated two businesses, Sandoval Trucking and A & T Truss Co. until 1986. He moved to Jemez Springs where he resided until his death. Tito was preceded in death by his son, Danny Lee Sandoval. He is survived by his children, Albertilla (Bert) Romero and husband, Ronald of Albuquerque, Dianna (Donna) Sandoval and friend, Roland Romero of Albuquerque, Phyllis Jaramillo and husband, Steve of Jemez Springs, and Frank Sandoval of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Adrian and Aaron Romero, Adam and James Sandoval, Tiffany Jaramillo, Jessica and Clarice Romero; one brother, Ulyssis Sandoval of Maine; two sisters, Viola Garcia of San Ysidro and Marcia Brown of Albuquerque. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. The Visitation for Tito will be today, Thursday, June 10, 1999 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 11, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be, Adrian Romero, Adam Sandoval, Aaron Romero, James Sandoval, Franklin Mirabal, and James Garcia. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary, Rio Rancho.
