Obituary for Jansma

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Thursday June 10, 1999

Robert Keith Jansma, Jr., of Aurora, Colorado, unexpectedly passed away at age 44 on June 6, 1999. He resided in Albuquerque before his move to Colorado 20 years ago, and he graduated from Del Norte High School in 1973. Robert had a big heart and was a good neighbor and hard worker. He was an exceptional father who cherished a very close relationship with his son. For those of us who remain, there are regrets; for the dead, life is completed, and there can now be peace. "When one man dies, one chapter is not torn out of the book, but translated into a better language" -- John Donne. Robert is survived by his son, Bobby (Robert Keith Jansma III), now residing in Sandia Park; his parents, Robert and Lois Jansma; and his sisters and their families, Maureen, Noel, and Stacy Rozelle; Roxana Jansma and Richard Stacey, all of Albuquerque; and Rita, Morey, Ryan, and David Liebling of Sandia Park. Services will be held at 2:00 Friday, June 11, at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming NE, Albuquerque.
