Lorena A. Brooks, born January 3, 1899 in a dugout in Knox County, Texas, died June 6, 1999 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Services will be held Thursday, June 10, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. in the Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary, with Rev. Carmen Conner officiating. Mike Fleming, Michael Reilly Brooks, Robert Hanna, Bob Nordstrum, Bob Dodson and Michael Jelosek will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale Blvd. SE. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, in charge of arrangements.
