Obituary for Box

Fern Fontaine (Mimi), 87, a resident of Albuquerque for the past 21 years, peacefully went "home to be with Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Saviour" on June 8, 1999. Born in Cassville, Missouri on January 1, 1912. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jessie Watson Box in 1982. They are survived by two sons, Wesley Box of Albuquerque, J.L. Box and wife, Gena of Bryan, Texas; a daughter, Marylin Snider of Albuquerque; four granddaughters, Tamara and husband, Ted Greve of Irvine, CA, Tracee Box of Albuquerque, Molly Snider of Albuquerque, Ashley Box of Bryan, Texas; two great-grandchildren, Beau and Danielle Billings, children of Tracee. She is also survived by a brother, James Linn of Monahans, Texas; a beloved brother-in-law, Eugene Branson of Houston, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews across the U.S., from Florida to Washington. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be Friday, June 11, 1999 at 4:00 p.m. at Victory Love Fellowship, 7201 Central NW. In lieu of flowers, Mimi requested donations be made to: Mountain Top Ministries, PO Box 23123, Houston, Texas 77228.
