Mrs. Eriscelda Montoya, 80, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on June 4, 1999. Mrs. Montoya is survived by one son, Porfirio Benavidez Sr. and wife, Cilla; one brother, Abelino Benavidez; four sisters, Elena Santiago, Aurelia Maestas and husband, Steve, Ursina Sena and Rita Armijo; six grandchildren, Porfirio Jr., Robert, Stevie, Bobby-Leroy, Beatrice and Michelle. Mrs. Montoya was preceded in death by her husband, Roberto Montoya. Mrs. Montoya was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Sunday evening in the St. Therese Church, 300 Mildred NW, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Monday morning, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m., in the church with a communion service at 9:30 a.m. by Deacon Manuel Montoya with a committal service to follow in the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Robert Benavidez, Steve Benavidez, Porfirio Benavidez, Andres Santiago, Martin Santiago and David Lopez. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, in charge of arrangements.
