Mrs. Abelina M. Lopez, 87, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on May 31, 1999. Mrs. Lopez is the beloved mother to one daughter, Edith Slack; seven sons, Arthur D. Lopez and wife, Raquel, Larry S. Lopez and wife, Liesel, Clyde C. Lopez and wife, Wilma, Edward G. Lopez and wife, Frances, Delbert W. Lopez and wife, Clara, Stanley R. Lopez and wife, Carol and Gordon K. Lopez and wife, Pam. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW with visitation after 4:00 p.m., Gabriella Nieto, reciting. Viewing will be Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, with a graveside service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Deacon Harry Beare, officiating. Pallbearers will be, all her loving grandchildren. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
