Obituary for Van Patten

Van Rick H. Van Patten, 42, a resident of Rio Rancho for 18 years, formerly of Milwaukee, Wisconsin passed away after a long illness on Monday, May 24, 1999. Rick had worked for the NAPA company for ten years before his passing. He was preceded in death by his dear father, Jack F. Van Patten. Rick is survived by his beloved life partner, Cheryl Nichols, he was the beloved son of Lonny (Bob) Klapperick of Rio Rancho, dear little brother of Jack (Linda) Van Patten of Milwaukee, WI, and Lauren Van Patten of Rio Rancho. Loving nephew of Phyllis Nehls of Theinsville, WI; special uncle of Kristen Van Patten of Milwaukee, WI, and Melinda Hudder of Windsor, CO; and two great-nieces and many other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service for Rick will be held on Saturday, June 5, 1999 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho with The Rev. Eric Ziecker officiating.
