Arturo Guillermo Ortega, born June 25, 1920 in Las Vegas, NM, the son of Joaquin Ortega and Feloniz Chene de Ortega, died Wednesday, January 20, 1999 in Albuquerque at home with his family present. Mr. Ortega is survived by his wife, Eloisa E. Maes, who he married in Las Vegas, on June 6, 1945; seven children, Arturo G. Ortega Jr. of Albuquerque, Ricardo J. Ortega, married to Cecilia Garcia de Ortega of Albuquerque, Cristina Ortega Morris, married to Robert B. Morris of London, U.K., Carlos J. Ortega of Albuquerque, Daniel F. Ortega, married to Rebecca Chavez de Ortega of Madrid, Spain, Roberto D. Ortega, married to Loretta Cordova de Ortega of Albuquerque, and Armando M. Ortega, married to Yolanda Snowball of Los Angeles, CA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren ranging from 18 months to 24 years, plus one on the way, David A. Ortega, Joaquin Ortega, Miguel Ortega, Javier Ortega, Margarita Ortega, Bremner Morris, Ana Morris, Sonia Morris, Leah Morris, Rosalinda Ortega, Maria Ortega, and Angelica Ortega. Rosary will be recited Friday, 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with Father Joel Garner, O.P., Celebrant.
