Michael Richard Kelly, 25, a resident of Albuquerque for 15 years, died Sunday, January 17, 1999. He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Figg of Albuquerque, grandmother, Bertha Politi of Dearfield Beach, FL; aunt, Theresa Gossaline; cousin, Julie Ann Gossaline; and friend, Deborah Buchhorn; all of Albuquerque. Michael was a graduate of Manzano High School. He was very active and involved in his role as spokesperson of M.D.A, educating the public about Muscular Dystrophy. Michael was the winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award from M.D.A. He had numerous friends and affiliations with local organizations. Services were held Thursday, 3:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, University Blvd, Chapel, 1111 Univerity Blvd, NE. Cremation followed services. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
