Obituary for Fitzpatrick

Donna Lee Fitzpatrick, 63, died Monday, at United Medical Center-West, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She was born August 19, 1935 in Locust Grove, Oklahoma and had lived in Albuquerque since 1973 with prior residence in Lubbock, Texas. Mrs. Fitzpatrick was a member of Risen Savior Catholic Church and Elks Ladies BPOE #461. She was very active with her husband representing the Elks, was an active CBer known as the"Cherokee Angel", and volunteered with cancer patients. Mrs. Fitzpatrick is survived by her husband, Jimmie F. Fitzpatrick of Albuquerque, whom she married December 19, 1953 in Tulsa, Oklahoma; a son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Roseann Fitzpatrick of Ribera, NM; two daughters and son-in-law, Vicki and John Hilliard and Patti Lucero, all of Albuquerque; her mother, Aleda Mae Attebery of Locust Grove, OK; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Misako Attebery of Moore, OK; eight grandchildren; one step-great-grandson; one great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold A. Attebery. Memorials may be made to NM Elks Charitable and Benevolent Trust or a charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, at Risen Savior Catholic Church, 7701 Wyoming NE. Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE, are in charge of arrangements.
