Mr. Ray B. Lucero died on Saturday at the age of 72. He is survived by his wife, Betty Lucero; six sons, Carlos Lucero and wife, Lillia, Ernie Lucero and wife, Rayan, Pat Lucero and wife, Audrey, Teddy Lucero and wife, Bridget, Ray Lucero Jr., and wife, Lisa and Marvin Lucero and wife, Sherie; three daughters, Ramona Ayon and husband, Gilbert, Louisa Lucero and Andrea Angela Varnadore and husband, Tom; one sister, Sofia Jaramillo; 30 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Lucero will be held on Tuesday at the Risen Savior Catholic Church where the mass will be celebrated at 9;00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his six sons, Carlos Lucero, Ernie Lucero, Pat Lucero, Teddy Lucero, Ray Lucero Jr. and Marvin Lucero. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mario Rivera, Carlos Rivera and Leroy Lucero. Visitations will be held on Monday from 3:00 p.m. unitl 7:00 p.m. in the mortuary chapel. A Rosary will be recited on Monday at 7:00 p.m. at the Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St, SW.
