Ruth Naomi Reeves, 89, a resident of Albuquerque for 33 years and a previous resident of Springer, NM for many years, died Friday, July 16, 1999. She was born November 13, 1909 in Fort Scott, KS to David and Catherine Williams six weeks after they came to this country from Wales. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack L. Reeves, two infant daughters, one son, Jack W. Reeves and two sisters, Sally Gould and Rose Mae Huddleston. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Ann Flowers and husband, Nevins of Springer, NM; son, Robert A. Reeves and Lea of Oklahoma City, OK; grandsons, Dwain Thomas Flowers of Springer, NM, Billy Jack Reeves and Shawn Reeves, both of Ohio; granddaughter, Tracy Mahaffey of Ohio; five great-grandsons; sister, Elizabeth Neill of Albuquerque, who took loving care of her for several years and with who she had made her home since coming to Albuquerque in 1966; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ruth was a friend to everyone and she loved her family and her family loved her. She will be missed by all. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
