John A. Nance, a longtime printer with Albuquerque Publishing Company and a resident of Belen, died July 14, 1999. He is survived by a wife, Marcella M. Nance; a brother, Richard H. Nance and wife, Lucille; three nieces, Marilyn Justice, Catherine L. Wieland and Victoria R. Nance; and two nephews, Chester Cook Jr. and Franklin R. Nance. Mr. Nance was born June 4, 1920, south of Mountainair, NM, to Horace and Exa M. Nance. Over the years he owned a chicken ranch, an apple orchard, and acreage in Belen and Placitas. He will be missed by those who loved him. Plans for a memorial service are pending.
