Samuel A."Sam" Burge, 38, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on May 24, 1999. Sam was the beloved husband of Dorothy Burge. Sam is also survived by three daughters, Naomi Ogelby and husband, Jeremiah, Isabel Alire and Jessifca Alire; three sons, Sammy Burge, Antonio Alire and Alfred Burge; his Godson, Fibert Romero; his mother, Eva Barker and husband, Bill; his father, Ronald E. Burge; two sisters, Mary Gambling and husband, Stan and Veronica Romero; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins and friends. Sam was a member of the Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday evening, 7:00 p.m., at St. Edwin Catholic Church, 2105 Barcelona SW, with visitation at the church after 6:30 p.m. Deacon Nestor Garcia, reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday morning, 11:00 a.m., at St. Edwin Catholic Church with final visitation at the church after 10:30 a.m. Father Jose Hernandez, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Samuel Burge, Jessie Chavez, Ronnie Garcia, Frank Lujan, Dave Chavez, Marty Baca. Honorary will be Stan Gambling, Jessica Burge and Jeremiah Oglesbee. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of the arrangements.
