Ernest Joseph Baca, 30, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on December 31, 1998. Joseph is survived by his beloved parents, Ernest and Mary Baca; his son, Ryan Vargas; daughters, Angel and Denise Baca; brothers, Loren Baca and wife, Crystal from Albuquerque, Chris Bentacu and wife, Roseanne of Albuquerque; his fiance, Dee Dee Tovar of Albuquerque; his grandmother, Leonor Encinias of Las Vegas, NM; his grandfather, Camilo Baca from Palma, NM; his great-grandfather, Manuel Encinias from Las Vegas, NM; nephews and nieces Eric Baca, Christopher Bentacu, Nicole Bentacu of Albuquerque; his uncles and aunts, Joe Encinias and wife, Julia, Dan Encinias and wife, Gloria, David Encinias and wife, Ernestine, Roger Encinias and wife, Dorie, Yolanda Martinez and husband, Anthony, Debra Gonzales and fiance Navor Roybal, Richard Encinias, Harold Baca and wife, Mae, Fabe Martin and husband, Dave, Nancy Campos and husband, Armando; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Joseph was a member of the Catholic Church. A Rosary was recited by Gabriella Nieto Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of The Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW, visitation was held at the church after 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Buriel will be celebrated Monday morning in the church at 9:00 a.m., Father Joel Garner Celebrant. A second night Rosary will be recited by Mr. Eloy Gonzales Monday evening at 7:00 pm. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Las Vegas, NM with a visitation at the church after 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with final viewing at the church after 8:30 a.m. Father Vincent Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Las Vegas, NM. Pallbearers will be Alex Encinias, Daryll Encinias, Richard Esquibel, Steven Sanchez, Carlos Garcia and Danny Baca.
