Mildred W. Salamon, 88, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1972, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 1999. Mildred came to New Mexico from Staten Island, New York. She was a member of the Rio Rancho United Methodist Church. Mildred had been a Private Duty Nurse before she retired. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; and her son, John. She is survived by two children, Dale Hahn of Staten Island, NY and Jean Carriaga of Albuquerque; two brothers, Robert and Carl Larson of Florida; three grandchildren, Michael, Antonio, and Solena; and one great-grandchild, Dante. A memorial service for Mildred will be held on Friday, March 26, 1999, 10:00 a.m., at the Rio Rancho United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tim Neustifter officiating. A graveside service will be held at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe at 1:30 p.m. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary, Rio Rancho. .DMP
