Mrs. Amelia S. Vialpando, 88, a resident of Albuquerque and formerly of Las Vegas, New Mexico, passed away on March 20, 1999. Mrs. Vialpando is survived by her sister, Mela Welch and husband, Clark of Kingman, AZ; a brother, Benito Sena of Casper, WY; and many nieces, nephews; and great-nieces and nephews. Mrs. Vialpando was a member of the Catholic church. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening, 7:00 p.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, with visitation after 6:30 p.m. Gabriella Nieto will recite the Rosary. A Committal service will be Wednesday, 10:30 a.m., at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of the arrangements.
