Mr. Donaciano Baca Sr., 73, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on March 19, 1999. Mr. Baca was the beloved husband of 50 years to Mrs. Nellie Baca. He is also survived by his daughters, Sandra Baca, Lorraine Munguia, Nancy Rodriguez and husband, Eddie, and Betty Thorpe; sons, Don Baca Jr. and wife, Sylvia, Joseph Baca, Larry Baca and wife, Virginia, Eddie Baca and Mark Baca; his mother, Mrs. Felicita Baca; sisters, Mary Esquibel, Stella Barela and Fili Lucero; 27 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Mr. Baca was preceded in death by his father, Emilio Baca; son, Randy Baca; brother, Emilio Baca Jr.; and a sister, Alice Sanchez. Mr. Baca served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and Korea. He received many distinguished decorations. He was a member of the American Legion Post 72 and 13. He was also a member of the V.F.W. A Prayer service will be held Tuesday evening, 7:00 p.m., at Victory Outreach Church, 913 Sunset SW. Visitation will be at the church after 6:30 p.m. Pastor Dan Sanchez officiating. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of the arrangements.
