Obituary for Montoya

Jose E. Montoya, 69, a lifelong resident of Bernalillo, passed away on his birthday, Thursday, March 18, 1999. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ricardo and Teresita Montoya; and his brother, Bonifocio Montoya. He is survived by three brothers, Abran and his wife, Margaret Montoya, Richard Montoya, and Orlando and his wife, Nena Montoya; and many nephews and nieces from the Bernalillo area. Jose served in the United States Army for 20 years; he was a member of the V.F.W. and a member of the D.A.V. of Albuquerque. Jose was dearly loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Pallbearers will be Jose A. Montoya, Richard S. Montoya, Nick S. Montoya, Chris Montoya, Vincent Montoya, and Leonard R. Montoya. Visitations will be held Sunday, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., March 21, 1999 at the chapel of Alameda. A Rosary will be recited at Our Lady of Sorrow Catholic Church this evening at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday morning, 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Alameda Mortuary, 9420 4th St. NW, Norbert R. Baldonado Jr. F.S.I.
