Obituary for Messick

Carole (Sneed) Messick, 59 years of age, a native of Springfield, Missouri. Carole was a member of the Salvation Army Church and Brass Band. She was a great wife, mother, bowler, golfer, and could stop on a dime at a garage sale sign and say,"what would you do?" She resided in Lakewood, Colorado 31 years before moving to Albuquerque, where she had lived for the past eight years. She passed away on March 16, 1999 at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque because of complications from brain surgery. She was preceded in death by her daddy, Thomas Sneed; and her brother, Jack. Survivors include her husband, JP; and four children, daughters, Audrey of Denver, CO, Debra of Springfield, MO, son, Michael of Albuquerque, and daughter, Kim of Denver, CO; her mother, Frances Sneed; two brothers, Gary of Denver, CO and Tommy of Sprinfield, MO; four sisters, Jean of Huntsville, AL, Norma and Libby of Springfield, MO, and Kathy of Ozark, MO; and ten grandchildren. Viewing will be Sunday, March 21, 1999, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Services will be held and conducted by Captain Gene Ragan of Denver, CO, Monday, March 22, 1999 at 3:00 p.m., both at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3506 No. National, Sprinfield, MO.
