Obituary for Miller

Frank J. Miller, age 85, died Tuesday in Albuquerque. He leaves his wife of 61 years, Pat; and his daughter, Marilyn Coldwell, both of Albuquerque; brother, Whitney Miller and wife, Patty of Dallas, Oregon. He is also survived by a niece and two nephews in California. Mr. Miller was born in Berkeley, California and attended public schools in Berkeley and Oakland, as well as San Jose State College. As a young man he worked in the family business which canned fine fruits and vegetables. He then moved to Albuquerque where he worked for 26 years at Lovelace Medical Center, retiring 20 years ago as Director of Maintenance. After his retirement he and Pat enjoyed trips in their RV and their RV Clubs, Zia Roamers and Siglo De Ora. Frank also enjoyed hunting and fishing throughout his lifetime. Viewing will be held at Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle, NE, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday, March 19, 1999. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, 1999 at Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park and Mausoleum, 924 Menaul Blvd, NE. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity. Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE.
