John C."Jack" James, a resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, March 16, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Frances James of Albuquerque; sons, John James Jr. and wife, Sharon, and Mark Field James, all of Albuquerque; daughters, Katherine James of Albuquerque, Lynnette Kowalski and husband, Doug of St. Louis, and Robin Lea James of Albuquerque; grandchildren, John Franko Smith and wife, Kim of Albuquerque, Jason Kowalski, Nolan Kowalski, both of St. Louis, Melanie Cicchetti, Emily Cicchetti, both of Albuquerque; brothers, Robert James of California, Thomas James of Albuquerque, Jerrold James of Albuquerque, Bruce James of Louisiana, and Frank James of Florida; sisters, Marian Calhoun of Albuquerque, Carroll Brennan of Albuquerque, and Barbara James of Virginia. He was preceded in death by his brother, William James. Jack was also a member of the American Legion and the Association General Contractors of America.
