Mabel Irene Holland, born April 14, 1905 in Thornberry, TX, to William and Mattie Stephenson. She is survived by daughter, Irene Bishop and husband, Jack of Lindrith, NM; daughter, Elmerine Everett and husband, Bert of Albuquerque; daughter, Eva Jane Brown and husband, Russell of Las Vegas, NV; son, A.J. Robison and wife, Susan of Santa FE; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is survived by a sister, Helen Parsons, Hereford, TX; a sister, Gertrude Jones, Claude, TX; and a brother, Ralph, Claude, TX. Mabel and her late husband, Curtis, moved to Albuquerque in 1989. She was an active participant in many activities at Bear Canyon Senior Center. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and a member of Royal Neighbors of America and Eastern Star. She was a"Mother" for Rainbow Girls in Lamar, CO. Cremation has taken place and her remains will be taken to Lamar, CO. A memorial service will be held in the near future. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Claude Museum, Claude, TX 59109.
