Edna V. Lea, 92, a resident of San Antonio, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 10, 1999. Mrs. Lea is survived by her daughters, Carol Cross and husband, Marshall of Houston, TX, Ruth Moore and husband, Edward of San Antonio, TX, Joyce Hail and husband, Robert of Lubbock, TX and Janelle Basham and husband, Clarence of Albuquerque; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie G. Lea in 1971. Mrs. Lea and her husband moved to Albuquerque in 1952. She taught at Parkview Baptist Elementary School for several years. She was a member of Del Norte Baptist Church and also of the Bernalillo County Extension Club. Mrs. Lea moved to San Antonio, Texas in 1996. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 15, 1999 at Del Norte Baptist Church, 5000 Montgomery Blvd, NE with Pastor Alan Hawkins, officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd, NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd, NE on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Del Norte Baptist Church, 5000 Montgomery Blvd, NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109, in Mrs. Lea's memory.
