Floyd"Sandy" Sanders, 88, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946, died Thursday, February 11, 1999. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Ruth Atteberry of Albuquerque; brothers-in-law, Leo Scarbrough and wife, Dee of Big Spring, TX and Vincent Peterson of Albuquerque; niece, Alice Jane Scruggs of Clinton, MS; and nephews, Ted Scarbrough of Cresson, TX, Phillip Scarbrough of Ft. Worth, TX and Roger Atteberry of Gulf Shores, AL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nora P. Sanders on September 6, 1995. Mr. Sanders had been a member of the United Association of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union #412 since February 25, 1947, where he served as Business Manager from 1963 to 1969. Cremation has taken place with private ennichment at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
